The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially released the notification for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 01/2026 Batch. Both male and female candidates who dream of joining the Indian Air Force as Commissioned Officers can apply online for Flying, Ground Duty (Technical), and Ground Duty (Non-Technical) branches. Educational Qualification
Candidates must meet branch-wise eligibility criteria as given below: Flying Branch: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or B.E./B.Tech. Ground Duty (Technical): Candidates must have minimum 60% marks in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year degree in Engineering or Technology. Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Bachelor’s Degree in any stream with at least 60% marks. Accounts: B.Com degree with minimum 60% marks. Education: Master’s Degree (MBA/MCA/MA/M.Sc.) with minimum 50% marks. Meteorology: Master’s Degree in any stream from a recognised university. NCC Special Entry (Flying): NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ Certificate.

Eligibility	Indian citizen
Pay Scale	During training, a stipend of ₹56,100/- per month will be given. After commissioning, officers will receive pay as per Level 10 of the Defence Pay Matrix with allowances as applicable.
